Term 3

 

Foundation - 2

This term In PE, students in Foundation to Grade 2 will be developing their hand-eye co-ordination skills via participation in the following sports:

Cricket; Tennis; Bat Tennis; Volleyball and Hockey. All lessons include games and activities that are adjusted to cater to all ages and abilities.

 

General fitness is always a focus with sprints, relays, rope skipping and fun, evasive games such as Poison Ball, Pizza Drop, Octopus and Builders and Bulldozers.

Foundation students will also be participating in a Perceptual Motor Program (PMP) this term. This program will assist in developing students’ co-ordination, fitness, balance, locomotion and eye-tracking skills.

 

 

Grade 3-6

This term In PE, students in Grade 3 to 6 will be developing their hand-eye co-ordination skills via participation in the following sports:

Cricket; Tennis; Bat Tennis; Volleyball and Hockey. All lessons include games and activities that are adjusted to cater to all ages and abilities.

 

General fitness is always a focus with sprints, relays, rope skipping and fun, evasive games such as Dodge Ball, Pizza Drop, Octopus and Pony Express.

Our Friday afternoon sports program is an 8-week program that involves children from Grades 3 to 6. The focus activities for this program are:  Rounders; Soccer; Cricket; Bat Tennis; 9-Square-In-The-Air; Active Drama; Cricket and Soccer.
